Very important to pay attention to what’s happening to leave as early as possible

DIKnURMOUTH says:

Hillary Clinton had it right when she said this specific race is super predators I don’t like Hillary Clinton I hate Hillary Clinton but she was right when she said these dark face criminals are super predators and we should kill them all

GitDatPC says:

The last guy didn't give up his phone because he was using it 🙂📱

Terry says:

I don''t want to be shot in the back. I need to see my attacker. Running is secondary.

Jam Isa says:

I don't wanna run and get hit while doing so. I'd rather fight or surrender. Running is viable when the perp isn't focused on me.

Goldenguard says:

I think the human body naturally stays still as a self defense mechanism (shock in other words). Like they say "if you stay still nothing will happen to you" but this is just my guess.

kyle von says:

I've had a gun pulled out on me. I've never ran so fast in my life!. Didn't stop to think just ran till I couldn't see them no more

El Secu says:

I think because when it happens, it’s so fast by the time you do think it’s almost always over. Having been around the block a few times in The Bronx and the heights plus Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 been through a couple of these thank God they have always happened fast I really wish they had channels like coming up thankyou John for that you and everyone at ASP for your work

Tod Wilcox says:

Shock, confusion, then fear

D JSV says:

I wish we would rename it the "fight, flight or FREEZE" response because it is more accurate.

WillieRants says:

People don't run due to deer-headlights-syndrome. Information overload and a bit of turtling.

Michael Schmidt says:

Only possible problem would be the possibility of being shot in the back

jimmy HVY says:

Normal c Bias

saad says:

i can't run when scared lol my body freeze

Element_punk says:

I think it's a predatory response.

Johnathan Ruiz-Pineda says:

In response to John’s question, I believe it’s because people are engulfed with a false sense of security, thinking that while some sort of criminal act can happen and they believe it just really won’t happen to them, they fail to recognize an active threat early enough to decide whether to fight or flee from the scene for their own safety.

That’s my personal opinion.

Space Head says:

I think fear of getting shot in the back stops most people from immediately trying to dip

Average_Joe says:

The rules we've come to live by. Work? Comply. Planes? Comply.

Ben Reed says:

My dad has always told me RHF which is Run, Hide, and Fight. In that order. He says only fight if the other options are not available.

Joshue Narvaez says:

Broke people stealing phones smh

Shawn McConnell says:

One must train themselves to default, and make their decision beforehand to either fight or fly. People who freeze are not programmed or expecting trouble.

hellsk100 says:

Glad to see him solo. We don't need Mike on this channel.

Jeremy Duran says:

Ppl don't run either cause of shock or they might think that running might still end up with them not making it. Doesn't matter of u could run u might still get shot in the back while doing so. If they don't have a gun well it might be easier but the victim might still think that running isn't the best option If they believe they can't outrun the threat.

John me says:

Funny how almost nobody says anything about how everyone here has their nose so deep in their phones that Lady Godiva could stroll by and nobody would notice. But if asked they would ALL say they were VERY aware of what is going on. GET OUT OF THIS PHONE CULTURE PEOPLE! WAKE UP AND TAKE YOUR LIFE BACK BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE. But it is already too late for most of you.

omegaboostZ says:

second dude definitely had his head on a swivel and that was wise.

Gary Anderson says:

Someone should have stolen his scooter when his back was turned

Hum Unges says:

Most times people dont run away after being confronted with a gun is probably the Oh No affect.

Armando Torres says:

All ego….

Marco Alessio Giovanni says:

Definitely normalcy bias, at least in most cases. Crime is something that happens in TV shows and on the news, not to us.
