Single action revolvers can be shot with the same proficiency as a modern autoloader, but you can get that same proficiency a lot faster with an autoloader rather than a single action, which would require hundreds of hours of training- not to mention the obvious reloading issue. You can't even use a speedloader, unless you are a cool person and have an old smith and wesson break action.

Started out cool as ice…finished as say what!

If single action revolvers are so good for fighting show me a police department that issues them

@silverback8183 says:

I like a single action for daily carry cause it’s a do-all gun. I can’t carry it concealed but with a good quality belt holster like a Threeperson’s style it’s not as obtrusive as people make it out to be and with a hammer thong or strap you have active retention. Revolvers typically come in larger calibers that have been proven man stoppers for about a century and they have also proven effective hunting rounds. So with that revolver I can not only defend myself and my family but I can legally and ethically feed myself and my family with it as well. Throw in the fact that you can get a lever action in matching caliber for your revolver and have a carbine that is 50-state legal slinging 8-10rds of magnum cartridges much faster than they’re coming out of that revolver and both guns can be fed from the same $30 50rd box of bullets. Revolvers aren’t ineffective, just have a learning curve for those used to semi auto’s

Bro is clearly not Arthur Morgan

@merle4545 says:

Yer and idiot lol

@carsonsavage5677 says:

As cool and effective as they are, it’s just not practical in this day and age. I’m a die hard single action fan, but my M&P 9mm just makes more sense. If the bad guy is gonna have an AR or high capacity semi-auto handgun, that’s what I’m gonna have and hopefully use it better than they do

@michaelmichael3574 says:

I think back in the western day you’d still be dead with your semi when drawing against a real gunslinger

@SaltyMaverick says:

Well that's not what I was expecting. 😂 I really wanted to see what you could do with that thing.

@anonymousf454 says:

And you probably could have been at least as fast with the single action…at least for the first shot and if you wlare good probably for the first 6 shots.. lol. If you hit what your aiming at your not outgunned at all with that six shooter pilgrim…🤠

@jimmywatson468 says:

I can draw and fire an sao revolver faster than you can a Glock

@kemalalemdar646 says:

Hahahaha 😂

@catsaregods007 says:

Considering your revolver is already open as opposed to your conceal carry, its less work to use, and works just as well. You dont need 21+1 for a home invader or a mugger, only enough to put 2 in the center mass
