Shootout between firefighter, neighbor video released; ruled self defense
***GRAPHIC CONTENT WARNING*** Dean Keller, 49, a firefighter, was accused of shooting his neighbor, Jeffery Weigle, 59, four times in the chest, sending him to the hospital in critical condition. The dispute started in some form or fashion over the neighbors’ fence. In the video, Weigle approaches the fence, does something to it while saying obscenities to Keller and his wife. Prosecutors ruled that Keller acted in self defense after Weigle pulled out a gun when Keller approached the fence and the shootout began.
the firefighter clearly had intent to shoot this guy. He put up the camera, he antagonised the old man buy approaching the fence while the old man was there, and he was ready to draw. If I know a crazy old man packs a gun and doesn't care, I'm staying away from the confrontation
Unjustified shooting. Self defense my ass. Guy was looking for ANY excuse possible to murder the guy. The old man just flashed a gun like someone pulling back their jacket to show theyre armed. He never pointed it at him and never showed any indication of imminent violence. And this guy just opens up on him out of nowhere.
I don't think Jeffery Weigle would have pulled out his gun if Dean Keller didn't march up to the fence in an intimidating manner. Also, why was Dean filming? Was he expecting something like this to happen?
That's where posturing with a firearm you don't actually intend to use gets you, unless of course your a black American, then if anyone questions, challenges or neutralises you, it's racism and your a martyr. Strange how racism works these days.
