SELF DEFENSE PRESSURE POINTS FOR BEGINNERS – SELF DEFENSE 101 – Five Elements Tactical
5 basic pressure points in the face and neck, that are easy to find and use for self defense. These are easy to learn and implement right away.
Kyoshi Dave Herman of Five Elements Tactical Training, and Big Rich of BRW Crafting, demonstrate how to use some simple pressure points to help you effectively defend yourself and get away from an attacker.
These techniques are common in martial arts, law enforcement and military defensive tactics, because they work, more times than not. Simple yet effective. Practice them gently, and at your own risk.
Loved the video, great instruction, but man, his friend's reactions to each move had me cracking up haha He was standing strong and prepared but genuinely surprised & pained by the effectiveness everytime. haha Definitely keeping these in my back pocket.
Ok bad guy please stand still don't move while I try and put a pressure point on ya! Yeah that's realistic not gonna happen in real fast street fight attack! 50 years experience in all types of fighting and pressure points aren't one of them.
With all due respect, your method is too complicated, slow and risky for my liking. It allows the other guy to grab and manipulate you, too. #1. I always prevent someone from grabbing me. I block and do a quick, simple finger strike to the eyes. You don't have to feel around to find the eyes. Not only does it hurt, but their eyes also tear up and they can't see well, if at all, and it allows you a chance to escape.
I've seen a lot of fights. A whole helluva lot and I've never once seen a pressure point attack in any of them. Except once a guy rearranged this other guys eye. Very effective. Just a little pressure from your thumb n it's goes where ever you push it. Guy was cross eyed for days. ๐๐ . Go for the eyes.
