In a sudden out of control moment, human physiology, psychology and emotions will dictate how the body responds. Many of the worlds leading force on force experts accept this and aim to develop principle based approaches as opposed to techniques that rely on complex and fine motor movements. Have you come ever come across ‘Sharpening the Warriors Edge by Bruce Siddle’ or studied any of Tony Blauer’s work on the SPEAR system? Krav Maga is another good system for out of control moments.

WeAreGoodCompany says:

I dont see why not? Dexterity is a practiced skill though. Kep that in mind.

TheRobbie40 says:

Will complex motors skills work in the out of control moment?

karl winters says:

how about a defense againts a quick one two. i like to do a rolling downward block and keep rolling until the face is open and roll into a backfist.

karl winters says:

good teks. similar to my own.

Gabriel Etienne says:

It would be nice if you could do a video regarding rolling backwards
and breaking a fall. Thanks Aq!

WeAreGoodCompany says:

Used to live in Jamaica, Queens!

TheMainEvent2112 says:

Bro you must be a fellow New Yorker right?

WeAreGoodCompany says:

I’d say collapsing and absorbing the shock/break fall. If you can roll backwards, you can pretty much eliminate any type of damage you may receive. Especially if you lock in for a choke.

MxLSKLZ says:

Another good video keep it up 😉

Gabriel Etienne says:

How do you recover form the Pritsburgh Jack? And, how best to brace yourself and fall properly?

Gabriel Etienne says:

Thanks a lot, I really appreciate the response. I haven’t had to use my “stand up game” for about 25 years, God willing I will never have to… wash somebody up, lol. Good work!
