WTF. I can't believe this man was charged for protecting himself and property from arson. Our justice system is protecting the criminals and punishing the victims. FUCK that. When seconds count, the police are only MINUTES away.

We are sitting ducks for criminals and the laws are on their side here in Canada. Anyone who comes on a persons property in a threatening way has put them self in harms way and if they are harmed due to actions taken in self defense, that is their problem not the home owners.

In Canada it is legal to defend yourself with force proportional to the danger, and lethal force is legal where there is reasonable fear of death or grave bodily injury. This provision must be in the law if the rich and powerful are to use or employ lethal force. The Liberal Party of Canada has had a hidden agenda to disarm Canadians since the '70's. Their gun law, the Firearms Act, is purposely designed to be vague in critical places so that charges can almost always be laid in firearms related incidents, and any sensible judge will throw out the charges. But in the meantime the gun owner is persecuted and prosecuted, so that the process is the punishment and innocence be damned.
What I don't understand is why or how the Canadian people would allow your law makers To make it a crime or a chargeable offense to defend your life home or property!!!??Had this happened in Texeas where I grew up one or more of the Six men would be DEAD!!With no charges filed Had this happened to me Here in Winnipeg One or more of those six men would be Dead I wouldn't give a dang about the charges As citizens you Need to fight to get your rights back and STOP saying sorry!!
