I can see how it's possible to disarm a suspect but I imagine that the process of disarming would have to begin with the victims hands already raised slightly before the gun comes up and then only grab the gun as it is being raised toward you. At that point you might still catch the suspect off guard and have a chance at winning. But if it's already pointed at your head you are behind the eight ball.
What makes me laugh is the gun disarm videos. Whenever you see footage of guns being used on the streets it never begins with the shooter standing in front of the victim at arms length and shouting don't move.
When a thug is shoving a gun into your throat I don't think he's gonna rest his hand on your chest and let you tilt away from the barrel . I'm pretty sure that barrel is gonna follow your throat and dig deeper. Then when you reach for his hand…..BOOM. UH OH
Well my opinion is this after watching this video: This guy has no idea what he is doing for sure. If anybody has you at gun point you really have nothing to lose really so try your best to get out of the situation by offering your belongings and if your a daredevil than take the chance to bring the bad guy down, but yet again it is a 50/50 chance. The best advice I could truly give do your best not to get into those situations. Knife is different than a gun by far you atleast have better odds of surviving than you would at gun point. The other thing about this video if your surrounded by 3-6 guys and there gonna whoop yo ass the best thing I can personally think of which would be try to escape, but if that wouldn't be possible than the next best thing would be give up your stuff and lay on the ground in the fetal position and cover your most vital areas on your body and do your best to wait out the beating. I suppose you could try and fight back but the odds of survival are gonna be against you for sure, I mean if your aware of your surroundings and could find an object to help with the situation than by all means use it if you could get to it. Common sense does play a factor in these types of situations always choose the best with your common sense material possesion can be replaced but your life can't be so use your own judgement. DON'T TRY TO BE A BADASS NOT WORTH YOUR LIFE!!!!
