RESPONSE: Firefighter Shoots Neighbor in Self-Defense
On June 27th, 59-year-old Jeffrey Weigle got into an argument with 49-year-old Dean Keller, an Indianapolis Firefighter. The two men are neighbors and have had a long running dispute with each other. On this day, it was over a fence and while Weigle was yelling and insulting Keller’s wife he decided walking (or in this case riding) away wasn’t good enough. He returned and it escalated quickly…
Just got me to thinking about some points to consider about self-defense whether you’re a firefighter, a welder or a stay at home mom. Thanks as always guys!!
For the 500 or so people that saw the first version, I made a mistake and the video was cut off half way through. My bad..weird..first mistake I’ve EVER made in my life 🙂

INTRO MUSIC: “Wolfhunter” by Forensic.
There are two lessons here. 1.) lock up your gun! This old guy was renting a room from the property owner and used her gun she didnt know he had! 2) this one is for the firefighter, learn to aim come on man!!! Just the gunfire made it seem like he was in indianapolis not Johnson county south of Indy!
Mike I see you have Minecraft on your computer Are you telling me to carry my brothers Mosin Nagant (we live together) even if I'm too young Also is it illegal to threaten to kill someone because someone did that to me
Mike the shot heard after the guys on the ground do you think it was from the firefighter or the guy on the ground? There was shots far apart once he was on the ground and it sounds like it was the guy on the ground firing pack
Well, there was one time I almost hit a rattle snake with a push mower, but he never drew a revolver on me, nor did I him. Few disgruntled swearing from both parties, then settled with a peaceful resolution.
Lawnmower story: As one drives through Aberdeen, MD, home of Cal Ripkin, on Route 40, you will see a family that gets around town on their lawn mowers… too many DUIs to have a license.
Man I love Mike the Cop, not in that weird way though. Great humor, and jokes when appropriate. What would we do without People like mike? I don't even want to think of a world without Mike the Cop's.
Man I love your level headed explanation of everything and how you can always tie it into other situations as a learning moment. Keep up the good work man both on YouTube and in the field and stay safe.
I live in Missouri and we have permitless carry laws. From an officer'a perspective, what do you think about people carrying permitless? I've been planning on getting my carry license however it's going to be a little bit before I can get it, recommendations?
As I understand from my Michigan CPL class, if the guy shows off his weapon as he drives by, that would be brandishing, no? If you have that on video you have evidence for a charge don't you?
I disagree about practicing under stress. First of all, you could shoot yourself. Secondly, muscle memory doesn't require mental stress.
can you link the original?
Why isn't anyone talking about how that guy literally just stood up after being shot that many times lol
Wow, all those rounds at that range and the guy still walks away. Was he even hit?
Only in Indiana.
How do you only have 60k subs!?! You deserve more. Love your Vids! Keep up the good work. 😎👉
Cops are gonna be in high speed chases with lawnmowers now

Hi Mike, great vid. FYI, in Chicago we are getting a lot of drive by shooting on bicycles. Any perspective on that?
4 Shots in the chest and the old guy still walked away but he is in critical condition now.
I know this story is a little old but would you do a video on this story? https://www.google.com/amp/www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/amp/robert-bates-imprisoned-tulsa-reserve-deputy-speaks-jail-cell-n587161
