Think………..yes these 2 guys might be deadly martial artists, but
fights do not ever go this smothly. Each one moved as if he could
anticipate the other. It was too showy. Yet….that is not to say id’ want
to mess with either man, Why whenever I see any Aikido demo like this, so
few times do people take “risks?” Meaning that they really go out there and
dont do everything choreographed and sometimes maybe someone would really
get a wrist broken or at least a toe fracture. The fact that these guys
could move at these speeds and nobody gets hurt….could you imagine either
of them going full force with O sesnsei or one of his students and someone
not getting a concussion or a broken something……even tho its a demo!
Something is wrong here. Yet I admit these guys are in awesome shape. But
whats the purpose of this? Money? Does everything come down to money? Not
losing face? What would make someone perform in a show like this? For what
reason?

warrior is invincible because he or she contests with nothing. Defeat means
to defeat the mind of contention that we harbor within.

These guys technical ability is truly amazing, I’d recommend akido to learn
for any martial artist, even if just for the feel of people body momentum
and movement, it really teaches you to feel what your opponent is doing
i’ve been practicing aikido (and other forms) for over 10 years and i do
not recall a kick to he back of the head while an opponent is on the ground
immobilized. don’t get me wrong, i like what i see, i’m just unfamiliar
with this aggressive form of aikido
No wrist manipulation is not “illegal” in the ufc. However, good luck
pulling anything like that off with an inch of padding on top of the hand
and the wrist taped straight to prevent it from breaking. No one quits mma
fights because of broken fingers because it doesn’t happen. Finger
manipulation is illegal remember? Next time someone has you in a choke grab
a finger and break it and see how fast they let they’re choke go.. There is
nothing close to real fighting except real fighting.

it is great demonstration and i really respect Vracharevich and his
students but i train traditional Aikido and i think that a normal aikido
demo is as amaising as that is with all of the powerful throws i just cant
understand why this style has to be named ”real aikido” to me it is like

(striking). cleaning up = killing
28 seconds into the video, the guy attacks with a wild right haymaker while
stepping forward with his right foot. Why would even train for that? Does
anyone do that? Do you think the defender didn’t know it was coming? I’ve
wrestled with a black belt in Daito-Ryu ju-jitsu. I’m mounted on to of the
guy and he’s trying to put a Nikyo wristlock on me. Right. And yes, I
tapped him several times and he never once got me- not even close. Didn’t
seem to mind though, went right back to pretend land.

real fight, the guy doesn’t let you back up. Take away the rounds – no
