One “mistake” that guy did do was park face in…I always park facing out just for situations like this. Personal preference though.

Zack Thrift89 says:

I’m sorry but he’s getting smashed between my car and that Subaru while I’m backing out!

Cris Field says:

Another safety thing is this. My car automatically unlocks when I put it in park. So I immediately and habitually press the lock button. I always have to gather my things, at least my purse, in order to be ready to get out. There was an incident in the grocery store parking lot where I shop. There was another incident in the shopping center parking lot where I shop. It can happen in your neighborhood. Be safe. Doors locked. Windows up.

Matt Hollins says:

Its funny all these armed robberies have one similar aspect every time almost… cant quite put my finger on it

Rickma says:

Wish the driver would have “picked up the spare” on his way out.

Time Party says:

Good idea to be tooled up and take the first shot, BUT … 1. are you sure it's a carjack, you don't know until you see a gun. 2. Firing a gun inside your car will probably blow out your eardrums and cause permanent damage to your hearing for life. HENCE, this guy was sure lucky to do what he did and leave without receiving a bullet as he changed gear from reverse to forward.

Brent M says:

Very good advice 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

bratcher23 says:

The inability of law enforcement to finesse a situation is stunning to me. This is psychopathic behavior.

shuumai says:

What about smearing the gunman on the side of the adjacent car?

Tactical Hobo says:

Backing into the parking spot buys you additional time to see what’s going on and then make a quick getaway.

David Davidson says:

The driver should have turned the wheel and make spaghetti sauce out of that asshole.

Brent Frank says:

John, your starting to look like the homeless around me!! 😂
