I slid about 10 feet across gravel with a flashlight and gun in my hands. The best part was ringing steel from my belly as the entire class gasped after watching me power slide across gravel 😂. It was embarrassing but a significant learning experience for me. I fell, kept gun in safe condition while tumbling, still took my shot and rang that steel.

@bradhiser9230 says:

So he gets attempted murder of a police officer but if someone shoots you it’s aggravated assault??

@masturchief says:

lol imagine a random guy pulls up on you in the middle of nowhere and starts flashing a light in your eyes walking up to your car. but the channel will defend this action, even though they wouldn't if it wasn't someone whos above reproach like an officer.

@prog3142 says:

When failing to activate police lights, officers are not only putting the occupants lives in danger but also their own.

@KillaKliff101 says:

It's mind boggling the amount of defending this officer the ASP is doing in the comments. I also didn't see a gun "pointed" at the officer. He moved slightly, as would anyone else begin waken up to a light.

@metalmaniaxx says:

As someone else already pointed out. There was no bubble gum lights, no siren, no announcement, he didn't even say a word.. You can't blame him for pulling out that gun in the middle of a pitch black deserted back road.. I'd do exactly just that..

@johnhernandez7599 says:

What if all the light caused a reflection that affected his vision and caused him not to see that gun ?

@b3astmde939 says:

Is it me or these past few body cam vids skip the gun fire? I know I'm not tripping. Lol

@KsDontMiss21 says:

No way Cali had a person who wasn’t suppose to have a firearm have one..I thought they ban them.😒

@tobyk5149 says:

I like Douglas Burger over there

@rhsking05 says:

Just curious, since he didn’t have his lights on nor did he ever announce who he was or his intentions, with a flashlight in his face…. I don’t like when criminals get a pass but I really can’t stand when there’s a chance of that happening because of shady actions on the part of the officer.

If you’re going to conduct a check/stop why not engage your lights? Moreover, when approaching a vehicle and can tell there is someone in it, why not at least say “hey, I’m police”???? It sometimes comes off like these guys know what they’re doing when they do shit like this.

One of those, dumbass shouldn’t have reacted the way he had but I wasn’t there nor do I know what was going through his head with someone walking up on him.

@sizzlechest6070 says:

California gun laws in action.

@DaBrute says:

No siren, no lights, no announcement… that guy thought his opps were creeping up on him

@ronaldtharappel5633 says:

I always roll down all the windows when I get stopped. Day or night, rain or shine.

@autumnfragrance6326 says:

Outrageous. This US Citizen did not want to drive impaired, so he parked off-road to sleep. Fast forward, a Police officer sneaks up to his car in the middle of the night. Who wouldn't have their gun out for protection?

@clifton4566 says:

To be fair he was asleep, there were no blue lights or sirens, and the cop didn't say anything while approaching him. This is one of the few situations where he could actually claim he didn't know it was a cop.

@btaylor083 says:

As a civilian who could one day sleep in my car for many different reasons, I'd like it if the cops turned on their lights or announced themselves. This is how the tragedy of Brianna Taylor happened, and it could happen to other startled good Americans men and women. Just a nit pick lol
