gun free zones. are bull. its if they don’t know it will not hurt them..
great video man. I live in Maryland and I had to bag and get down on my
knees for my carry permit. which is crazy. Now I had to carry a firearm for
years before I got my carry permit. its was dumb. but I had to do it. Im
not a bad guy. I have the right to own and carry a firearm. now I have my
carry permit.

bad hat says:

odd fact the cow towns of the 1870’s in the “Old West” had strict gun
control laws, that were strictly enforced. One even had a huge bill board
in the center of the street that said to turn your guns in at the police
station. And they had less than 40 gun related murders in a period of 10
years.

Rich Doherty says:

All of my edc knives have bone or wood scales. I like the look of them plus
they don’t look as intimimidating as an assist opening tactical “black”
knife. If LE were to find one on me, they would not feel as threatened with
a camping/hunting looking folding knife. But, I can still feel armed if I
am attacked.

redeemedwench says:

What? How did I miss this video when you uploaded it? I didn’t get the
e-mail notification. 🙁 I need to stalk your channel daily, I guess?

CarsonHassler says:

Mathaius833 says:

victim disarmament zone, aka Canada

John Doe says:

Can’t you just tell them you are a cake designer and that’s a cake knife?

PatriotSaint93 says:

I will be moving to Maine after I finish school and get established. what
exactly are the knife laws on blade length. a lot of mine are pretty long.

MAINEPREPPER says:

That is an interesting knife for sure. The concept is that you can
transition from an edged weapon to your handgun without losing retention on
the blade. That said I cannot imagine too many people will start out with
the knife and then go to the pistol; usually it’s the other way around and
it’s a last resort. As a fighting knife it lacks the quillion and relies on
the strength of one finger alone to keep your hand from going up over your
own blade if you strike a bone or etc. in thrust

assy muncher says:

spyderco Lil, Matrich. really dirty real weapon.

Tyler Pickersgill says:

Someone needs to design a pocket knife that is also a fighting knife

Ross Stillwell says:

Michigan laws on carry are a bit confusing. I think that is the idea behind
law, to be as vague and confusing as possible lol.

Tony Garcia says:

Scotty Yates says:

With the exception of the skinner..all of those are illegal in my state. I
do..however carry a weapon all the time..it will seem silly. I carry a hair
pick..yes like the ones people use who have permed and curly hair. The one
I have has a plastic handle..but..it has steel teeth. I do not own a
firearm..and carrying a knife on my hip seems a bit cowboyish here in my
area.. pretty sure that if I had to use it..the hair pick will take an eyes
out, lacerate someone’s arm, fist, groin or collarbone.

Scotty Yates says:

I’ve never used a push knife. And..frankly have never had the occasion of
having to use a knife against someone. I had a teeny bit of training in
self-defense..and my sensei always said,”Here is what you do if they pull a
knife…RUN!” Hand a three year old a magic marker and try to take it away
while they are flailing it around..then look how many marks you have on
you. I’ve only learned some Kali/Escrima/ Arnis tactics..kind of a JKD
system. When in doubt RUN! Thank you for your time sir:)

LOVE your sense of humor!!! You really need to think about being a writer
for TV shows…there might be a resurgence of followers of tv if they had
decent writing again, but I digress. 🙂 Thanks for all of your hard work
and for putting yourself out there for the world to enjoy and share.

mechtech1116 says:

Yay for pushknives! I carry a Cold Steel Safe Maker II lashed to my belt
(achieved by running the included bead chain through the aforementioned
grommet holes.) I very highly recommend the type, and as far as my
particular model, I have been impressed with the durability of the blade,
and especially the sheath. A good sheath is hard to find, but Cold Steel
made a real winner with the Secure-Ex. Great vid! Thanks for putting so
much useful information out for the rest of us.

MAINEPREPPER says:

Maine state law is somewhat vague but Title 25, Part 5 Chapter 252 says a
little about concealed carry. Maine law is also very strict about spring
assist knives and one hand knives that open with a flick of the wrist,
downward motion, outward motion etc. Exceptions to concealed carry are
“Knives used to hunt, fish or trap as defined in Title 12, section 10001”.
It is illegal to brandish (wave around, pull out and threaten) a weapon but
wearing it on you belt is not brandishing.

Ryan Mood says:

Doesn’t Maine law state that any knife whose intended purpose is for the
attack on or defense of a person is illegal? I don’t carry a knife on me
when i go to Maine because i thought such knives were illegal, or does the
law change if you own a concealed carry permit in Maine?

xerr0n says:

tis crazy how much propaganda there is.

Jason Adams says:

He’s just going to tell them that what they are doing it against the LAW.
I’m sure that will stop them. If not, then hope you have life insurance so
your family can give you a decent funeral.

Steve Irwin says:

The Benchmade SOCP is a really nice fighting knife I like. I no knife
fighting expert but the design seems quite good to me. Admittedly its not
very cheap about $70.

NeoCorpse says:

The sticking point on the cold steel pal is the fact that it’s considered a
dagger or dagger-like dual edged blade. In most states it’s considered
illegal to carry but not to own or purchase.

new2survival says:

In the UK they only allow criminals rights. Hence teenagers gang gay raping
kids.

Buddy1306 says:

The only “Gun-Free Zones” that I don’t carry my gun into are the ones with
metal detectors.

dnhman says:

I like your digressions

carl krebs says:

another good , informative video , thank you sir . all you do helps many of
us that have not served as you have . but , ALL you do is highly valued as
useful knowledge . plus you have a good sense of humor . thanks again sir .
and , yes i am humbled by the knowledge of the pain you suffer and the
lives you have saved enduring your time of service .

thedylanator says:

Checked with my cop mate. Illegal to carry any knife of any size in Western
Australia without reasonable excuse. As usual, self defence is not
considered a reasonable excuse so I’m probably gonna be stuck with the “I
use this to pick my toenails, officer” excuse. Can’t seem to catch a break.

spiritnexus999 says:

I avoid gun free zones like the plague. Of course, even if you have a gun,
being able to draw it and use it on a charging opponent isn’t always
realistic so having a knife as a backup is useful.

neanderthor66 says:

Sorry if I spaced out for a minute and missed it, but do you feel that the
grivory is acceptable considering the price, or would you recommend staying
with steel?
