How about if we start putting up “beware of homeowner” signs for anyone thinking of breaking in? If these criminals are given fair warning and still decide to do it, then there’s no way the homeowner could be charged. The criminals were warned. Just like “beware of dog”!
Police arresting victims. How freaking stupid is this?!?!?! And this most definitely is not the first time!!! I’d bet most police don’t even know the actual law.
This countries legal system is a joke. So basically, you have to defend yourself, and make sure you don’t call the cops. Any time I have ever tried to use the police they have been completely useless to me.
He wasn't a homeowner. He was a renter. He was also living in a neighborhood that was ripe with drugs & alcohol and he had a police record. Also he used excessive force.
Someone breaks into your house and has a knife and presumably other concealed weapons you can't see, and this braindead talking head thinks it's "excessive force" to use a gun to protect yourself?! Someone call the police and tell them to not shoot an attacker running at them with a knife, see how well they take the news
Guy entered my home April 2024. Toronto. Police didn't charge him. He said he was looking for his cat. He doesn't have a cat. I was asleep and woke up with this strange man in my home.
Now we can’t defend ourselves from criminals also the police can’t hurt them so I think the best solution we should have a criminal care system that we pay them monthly like taxes and everyone will be happy criminals they will not need to still anymore also people will be save 😌
