Attorney Tom Grieve is a former state criminal prosecutor from Wisconsin before eventually founding what is now the state’s largest criminal defense firm at more than 20 attorneys. I am a South Korean vet who legally immigrated to the USA in 1981. South Korea has a policy – one CANNOT leave the country and immigrate to another without completing their military duty. Strictly forbidden. In other words, this Korean John Wick (as you referred to him) knows a few things about weapon handling as well as hand-to-hand combat. You said that he might have a story.
The defender was definitely a stud taking care of business. I imagine that there was one happy ending in this story. Two would have probably been morally and legally acceptable.
That means there are 2-3, depending on the four shots towards perp 2, that are either contemplating their moral choices and frailness or are becoming hardened with more resolve for evil.
The best that, that i know, of how to shoot someone who has already pointed a gun at you and continues to do so is by having a hammerless snubie in a front coat pocket. Enter S&W 442 or 642.

Years ago my oldest sister got attacked by three cherubims. The first double time turned the first guy into a permanent resident and the other beat all speed records running.
That happened in a large city in Brazil… Kidnappers and attackers know that tourists carry cash, cashier's checks, and other fluid assets. It's important that they see videos like this, so they are less likely to try it on another tourist. The solution to armed robbery or kidnapping threat with handguns is a handgun carried by the threatened victim… Yes, Hollywood scenes are fictitious, and the victim gets caught against his or her will so the plot gets more interesting, and finally the hero wins and mates with the pretty, half-dresed young woman…. Same old story
16 rounds. I have a 15rd mag for my S&W Equalizer (yes, dumb name but it’s a great gun), plus a second mag that holds 13rds. I also have two 10rd mags but I don’t go around carrying three extra mags on my belt.
All healthy Korean men are drafted in the army. They train a lot. This dude seems like straight out of a John Wick movie, very professional, very effective. He knows how to smoke pigs…
