The lesson John is looking for is to carry your gun in a quality holster. I didn’t get it without watching the lessons but I see now that this video illustrates that lesson because he points the gun at himself on drawing. It’s the first lesson John talks about and he also reinforces it at the end
When he is closing the gate, he hears the moto. He looks down the street in the wrong direction because the noise is echoing in the alley. When he turns around he now sees the Moto and pulls his gun out.

Practice I think was the biggest factor. He has to have more skill in firing a pistol. He also needs to watch Jon on this channel.

Pointed gun at himself a few times,empty chamber, one hand on gun, not a proper sight picture, chasing attackers. A lot of lessons with this one
