The longer walking sticks shown in this video have the extra advantage that you could take them everywhere and have the defense that you were using it as a cane. One thing I do is when I arrive at my destination, I take a good long look around and see who is in the parking lot before getting out of my car. If I see someone very sketchy, I will often just move on to the next location and avoid any confrontation.
Great advice, but here in the UK you will probably be arrested – possibly even charged or sentenced – just for attempting to defend yourself, even in your own home. Meanwhile, nothing will happen to the perpetrator. Why did my father and grandfather's generations fight in two world wars?
I've been toying with the idea of a 2×4 or a bat with nails hammered through it. I also have lots of glass on hand, (I do stained glass)… I made a cat-o,-nine-tails just for fun, but I'm sure it would snap at the first sign of aggressive use (or come back at me a shred me up a bit. Pretty barbaric but …….If I were to carry bear spray I'd go the extra mile and have a Bic lighter to accompany that. Thank you for your informative video! I have window bars on my house on most of my windows. What can I do to prevent rioters from trying to start a fire through one of my windows? Is there a way to fire proof a window or to make it impossible for someone to break your window? I know about the window film but I’m not sure it’s strong enough. Thank you in advance if you answer my question.
Pepper spray is useless; pepper GEL is the stuff to use. It won't blow back in your face, and a stream of it can reach up to 15 feet. Some of it also includes red dye, which is good for the cops being able to identify the perp.
Well I’ll be….although I don’t need it, I think I’m going to start using a walking stick/cane ! When my neighbor moved he gave me a bunch of unfinished diamond willow walking sticks, I’m going to get one finished up and take it along when I go somewhere! Thanks

It’s good to study animals and note how they defend themselves with leg strength or power abilities
I live in a country that if you got caught carrying any of those instruments you would be locked up

Most city and state departments are understaffed!? Not just police. Whose fault is that?
Can a person carry a cane into a court of law, or in general premises that ban weapons, chains, knives etc? Thank you.

Gel peper its better that spry. Gel does not fly back.
