Ladies please never carry a deadly weapon that requires strength and agility like a blade, it's more likely to be used on you, turning a non-deadly scenario into a deadly scenario. Tasers are an equally silly self defense device, against someone intent on harming you its foolish to think a small taser will stop someone, police tasers often fail to stop an attacker just because of something like a t-shirt. Pepper spraying and running is genuinely your best option in most all scenarios. If you are in a situation where the options are your life, or theirs, a situation I pray none of you ever find yourselves in, your single greatest tool of defense would be a firearm.
Rewatching this after few weeks and ordering some tools now, had a very unpleasant confronation today where a guy followed me around for quite some time and noone helped (even tho i loudly told him to stop talking/following me), i felt so defensless and thankfully found this video in my history again 😔

Be sure to check if self defense keychains are legal in your state! As far as I know, any self defense keychain used for punching/goes through fingers/knuckles are ILLEGAL IN CALIFORNIA because they fall under the brass knuckle category. So you could get in trouble for being caught with one.
if you are afraid of getting attacked as a female i cant recommend anything other than a gun. tasers are down right innefective. Its an immediate pain that might knock them over, but the second the electricity stops the pain goes away. Its not like TV where tasers will knock you out. the "cat ears" are actually illegal in most places because they are considered brass knuckles. "tactical pens" shouldnt be considered defense at all because their purpose is just to break car windows in emergencies. Pepper spray works pretty good but some people have a good enough pain tolerance to ignore it. Knives are a no-go because theres no such thing as winning a knife fight. If they have a knife you either pull a gun or give them whatever you want because knives are completely random weapons, you cant block them or disarm them realistically. The best defense is being aware of your surroundings and knowing how to be safe. The worst thing is when females over estimate themselves and think "if someone attacks me than ill use my adorable cat ear keychain to beat em up!" in reality chances are they are better armed and if you get close enough to punch than you already lost. Guns are the great equalizer, doesnt matter if the attacker is 6'6 300 pounds cause 9mm doesnt discriminate. stay safe people, things are getting crazy out there.

My best friend used to carry a fork whenever we walked home from school back in 6th grade. One time a guy started forcefully pulling her to a vehicle but this hoe got a fork in her pocket so yeah, she stabbed him in the arm
My “weapon” of choice is the whistle I have the pointy stabbing thing already which is illegal in England but we had a serial rapist in my area so I thought fuck it, being cautious is better.
Girls should have a punch-dagger. Not jokin. Easy to use, hard to take away. And DON'T keep it in yer purse. Best just to not be alone w/sum1 you don't know. Well. Go 4 the eyes, n neck.
Going to attend college in the state’s highest missing persons county. And a place where minorities aren’t welcomed if gone too far in the conservative areas. So .. taking notes.
