This is the first time I’ve seen y’all spend more time blaming the victim than breaking down the shooting. Seems like a lot of assumptions being made here. Strange video.
Not saying he should have been killed or shot, but I’m sure the target wasn’t a saint. He probably did something similar to those peoples friends or family.
Hey John, I’d like to throw an opinion out there, the head in a circle thing has been driving me bonkers, and I get it, who cares, it’s just my personal preference, but maybe full frame picture in picture of you and the cohost down in the corner would be better, particularly when the primary image is frozen and all we hear is voices. Seeing some animation and banter back-and-forth rather images frozen would be a huge improvement, even over the head and a circle thing that’s been going on lately.
Also, something that really needs to be looked at is better mixing of the mics. I play a lot of these videos while the phone is attached to my truck audio system, and it is very noticeable that one person (usually John) has a mic gain that is much higher than the other, and then when you switch to advertising it’s blaring compared to the straight vocals. Perhaps invest in a small mixing board, though I assume that’s already on set, and be careful to level the audio gains. Thanks, guys, and keep up the great work!

As an American who lived in SA for 4yrs, and traveled the whole country, my situational awareness was maxed out the entire time there.
I didn’t really think the advice of trying to live a life where you’re not a target for assassination is all that helpful.
