Tark McCoy says:

The take on this: If you have explosive ego issues (you know who you are), consider John's recommendation of a pepper spray option. It's nice to have a place between yelling at and shooting someone, your option of course.

Thomas Butler says:

Great video John. I absolutely love the channel. Great lessons to be learned.

Joseph Saeteurn says:

why do some states have laws like that and others don't? why not just make all states "stand your ground"? also, i think they should evaluate CCW holder and strip permit. we can't have them going around policing everyone thinking hey i have a gun and im not afraid to use it under this law. the old guy started the fight and he ended the fight.. next , he will confront people who are double parking.

Jacob Kenworthy says:

What a mess. Who cares if someone is illegally parked? It doesn't matter, and it's no reason to get into a confrontation. I'm very surprised the shooting was determined to be justified.

carshatter says:

Jacobs vowed to continue seeking justice for her late boyfriend. “I could have been hurt, my kids could have been hurt, he shot, fired in front the kids which was real messed up,” Jacobs said. “And all Markeis did was try to protect his family, he didn’t do nothing wrong, he didn’t do nothing wrong.”

yea Markeis was just defending his family, by slamming a old guy to the ground for complaining about you guys taking the handicap spot

i guess you just dont do that shit in flordia

“he really slammed him to the ground.” He also said that Drejka said he feared that McGlockton would attack him again. “He felt after being slammed to the ground that the next thing was that he was going to be further attacked by McGlockton,” the sheriff said.

Tacit Worm says:

Took a fist to a gun fight with an elder man. SMH no winners.

Bobby Bands says:

This is for sure murder, drawing his gun is fine. But once the other guy BACKED UP that does not contribute to self defense

1quikz28 says:

Looks like murder to me

SBRINKERHOFF says:

Pushing an elderly handicapped man down on concrete look this young man intended to do bodily harm to me. I've seen thousands of video of brutal beating and at 4:58 this young man was getting ready to kick this handicapped man in the face until he saw the gun. If im on this jury elderly handicapped man wins

Mario Menendez says:

First I see the mentality of the women and boyfriend. Obviously they don't car about laws. One for parking in a handicap and two she's in her car and it's and elderly man outside the car. Why push him. Because they both don't care about consequences. I'm not saying he deserved being shot. But he probably thought I'm going to be a big man I front of my girl. Good for the older man to call them out on the parking. You cannot say what the older mans logic was at the time, especially if your not his age.

Dash Cam Das says:

10 minute dissection for a 5 second incident. The guy who was shot was clearly the aggressor and he paid the price. Understandable why the Police did not prosecute.
P.S Chances of that woman parking in a disabled bay again? Slim to none I guess.

Arthur Andrews says:

Keep teaching John

justin kohsman says:

Well he shouldn't have pushed him….

G Williams says:

I read comments saying how egregious it was/is to park in a handicap space. Get a fucking grip. We've all done it for brief moments especially when there are numerous other available handicap spaces. And handicap spaces are not respected anymore bc it's too easy to get a placard. Anyone with a limp or a sore toe can get one. This sanctimonious needle dick just wanted to push his weight around. Murderer. If he would have minded his own business…

Jonathon Braddy says:

Unsubscribed…Video sucks. John sucks.

S. S. says:

This is a horrible tragedy. Angry man picks a fight with a woman , her boyfriend comes out and pushes the aggressor to the ground then gets murdered. Lock the shooter up on 2nd/3rd degree murder charges.

bigg746 says:

It's Florida and get away with killing any minority in Florida

Central Scrutinizer says:

…………Let's look at the arrogance of these "victims". She's parking in a handicapped spot when other spot are clearly available. There is no doubt that she is expressing extreme arrogance during this discussion. Her man comes out and skips over a few of the available options…directly to violence. That push could have killed the old man if he had hit his head on the asphalt. It was violent attack on a older man and he didn't even see it coming. The "pusher" was clearly in much better physical condition….and he was using that as his weapon. He's bigger …so he's right…even when he's wrong. Do we want to live in a world like that? Legally this may be sticky……but it's a happy ending for sure. Their arrogance got him killed…maybe another stupid, arrogant, violent punk will learn something from this….but I doubt it. His lawyer shouldn't have any problem with winning this….that was a brutal push onto the asphalt…who can say what condition he was in seconds after two impacts like that. "all I could see was a large figure standing over me….I thought he was going to kill me"…..I bet the DA won't touch it. Karma is a b*tch.

supersmashbrosevil says:

All 3 acted so stupid here, they could just have a normal day

ForgedByFortitude says:

Me and my dad got on a "public freakout" and "road rage" compilation kick recently and the thing that consistently pisses us of is people playing cop

Dave K says:

Target: You brought an ego to a gun fight. I almost have to think this was more than a parking spot dispute and add that the shooter's mindset was affected by his perception – older, weaker, on the ground – that's like cornering a rattlesnake. I would think this shooter would lose in civil court. John, you said it 100% right – sadly this was an "optional gunfight."

guy tyrie says:

That's murder !

MrNightpwner says:

The boyfriend's ego got him killed imo. Mental facilities deteriorate in elderly doesn't it? I see an old person yelling at anyone I get in front of him or her and follow up. Not just push them like I'm tougher, of course I am and I got nothing to prove. Of course that man felt threatened, how is yelling at someone for parking like a shithead constitute getting attacked? Old man looked frail to me, and the guy was egotistical. Shitty situation.

Pete Jimenez says:

The young dude shouldn't have pushed him, and the older man shouldn't have shot him. Two negatives make a positive lol.

John Smith says:

looks like self defense to me and im glade the lowlife died

Mez Taco says:

I know it's slightly off topic, however I'm having difficulty understanding the self-entitled mindset behind taking up the extra-wide space meant for wheelchairs/walkers and it didn't even get him closer to the door of the business.
