Thanks as always for the great videos. Just a side note though, those batons are actually very effective if you know how to use them properly. I can knock anyone to the ground just with that spinning motion if I use the right technique. (Tip: Flick the wrists and use your shoulder and torso muscles to thrust) One good strike to the face is enough to get someone on the ground very quickly while disorientating them at the same time.
OMG meth-a-can-american, that's a new one to me, too funny guys. I did evictions for a company in baltimore with sherrif's dept in early 90's when sleeper herione addicts were an issue. No one wants to put hands on a pin head, they will and did put a few boots on them first, i was cool just 'Roll bro, don't make the man get disrespectful', dude was 1 hour into a 6 hour trip, he left the property in cuffs with half his head the size of a watermelon My point is meth heads are highly unpredictable and if this man was in winter clothes where a taser would not work or armed or reaching, would you risk your life or your family's future by going in easy Keep in mind in my previous example of early 90's tasers were not standard issue for any PD and considered experimental. Thank god this man survived and he gets a second chance, many do not!
I worked at a resort where the local native fishermen would fish with their nets. When I see guys like this, I imagine one of those nets being flung over him.
