That deputy really kept a cool head in a very difficult situation. The finishing punch was also perfectly placed and justified, preventing having to get into a deadly struggle, taking the wind entirely out of the perp. Awesome work.
What the hell was that cop doing putting his weapon down not 6 inches from a unrestrained (i.e. Not handcuffed) suspect? That seems like a very good way to have your gun used against you.
