J H says:

Absolutely the fault of those two thugs… they should culpable in those felonies as well.
We just keep holding cops to higher standards but have such expectations from these thugs.
Sorry to those who errantly got hit…. but wouldn’t have happened if those two thugs would’ve been better people.

Thugs suck!

Jake Evans says:

it is mind boggling to me how many citizens support bad police officers even when they clearly did something wrong. If anyone else makes a mistake they get charged and put in a cage. POLICE have a privilege no normal citizen have. They police themselves. Police need to be held to a higher standard and the power needs to be restored to the people

John says:

How are the officers in the wrong on this one? The guy pulled a gun on them, what else are they gonna do? It's better they shot him there, then to wait for him to go deeper into the crowd.

Rainbow flag in the background. Yep, definitely the United States. No other country bows down to the rainbow harder.

Easy Mode Fishing says:

If i see someone wailing on someone at 2am drunk im getting the hell out of there because i will assume that they’re about to get shot.

HackanHackerGames says:

Yes it chaos Yes its night
But they are working with a crowd

Rob Rome says:

Guy in the blue should’ve gotten clapped not the one in black

Paul Clarke says:

Statistically, a lot of cops go their entire career without pulling their guns let alone getting in a shooting situation. . Even with good training, this creates complacency and lowers readiness. Sure, it's easy for all of us to analyze videos when we can pause or frame by frame to study for 15-20 minutes And sure, it's easy for us to then declare what we would have done differently. But…that's a world of difference from the reality this cop was faced with. . People still make mistakes like tunnel vision and lack of situational awareness, especially in high stress situations. There was no intent to hurt innocent people and, yes, it could have been better……but it was a mistake but I dont think you put people in jail for errors in these types of circumstances.

ZeroGrxvity says:

sorry but the felon should be responsible for what the cop HAD to do. Not saying he did good.

HDTripp says:

So the cop is supposed to just left the criminal shoot him?

Jojo Fire says:

Hold then to the same standard as a citizen with a ccl

Rob says:

I dunno man. This footage shows the guy made a dangerous mistake, in a panic, after about 2 seconds of notice. I feel like criminal charges are excessive here – if he's going to have felony changes on his record, it should really be for something that was premeditated or punitive violence on a captive perp or something like that. He clearly messed up pretty badly, but nothing indicates he did that on purpose or maliciously. He should probably be suspended or sacked, but not jailed, imo.

Ayanda Ngcebetsha says:

Your friend repeatedly punches someone who is not fighting back, you join in and throw punches. You end up getting shot and face charges.
