I agree with many people on here. It depends on the dog. I had a dog that would give his life to protect his family. I never taught him this either. One day my ex and our daughter were in our living room. My daughter was maybe 6 months old at this time. My ex left the main door open, but the screen door was locked. It had snowed that morning and our driveway was covered in snow. I was working, so, I was unable to take care of it yet. Well, a man came to the screen door and opened it to ask my ex if he can shovel the driveway. (He said he did this because he didn't want my ex to get up since she was playing with our daughter. My dog Snuff saw this and went into instant attack mode. He messed the guy up. My ex got Snuff off him and the man apologized for doing what he did. He understood Snuff was protecting his family from an unknown person.
If you just walk in my door and my dog doesn't know you, you will find 125 pounds of dog all over you and if I'm not there to pull him off. Luckily I was here he just tore his pants and no deep teeth marks but the guy was up on my washing machine begging for help.
I live in California and in the university town I live sort of near, about half of the people I see still wears masks anywhere and everywhere. 😐 Unfortunately people here like to be afraid for some reason.
No dog can beat a human, humans are larger smarter and our bodies are better built for combat. Dogs arms don’t even bend to the side, you can break a dog’s arms with ease even if you aren’t terribly strong.
Never let dogs be defenses, they need to be protected like kids
Come to liberal victim land WA state and you will see brain dead zombies in masks all over still. They will never recover from the self inflicted retardation of 2020.
I still see people with very low iq driving in a car by themselves with masks on its quite funny when you think about masks only being effective at protecting you from OTHER PEOPLE
My dog is a a noisemaker and an intimidation tactic. He's a 90lb. Black German Shepherd. I have no idea if he'd attack an intruder and hopefully I never have to find out, but I don't expect him to.
My dogs 14, he can hardly protect himself lol but back in his prime he absolutely would have gone to town on someone attacking me, gotta love big ass shepards.

All for a $200 haul. That’ll only get ya 4 packets of cigarettes in Australia.
Had a black lab/ St. Bernard mix that would have done something.
My Golden Retreiver will only physically protect my youngest daughter. What dirtballs these criminals are, get a job losers
400 pesos is like 20 or 21 dollars.

Get one more cat and tape them together like voltron. Everyone knows 5 cats combined = awesome power.

I had a 100 pound Doberman who worked quite nicely. But, she was trained in Germany. Need I say more.

Most dog owners are in denial.
