I definitely agree I always try to to look around my surroundings and look at everyone once a minute if I hear someone walking behind me I look and think situational awareness is important
I wish these sergeants would explain it to these young guys when shit like this happends. Too often i feel like cops walk away from a scene like this, not learning anything.
I'm pretty sure I know that corner of the Mall. Things to consider. That area is commonly used for parking by theater goers, late night showings even. I have parked there numerous times.
Raise your hand if, at some point in your life, you thought there was no way somebody could get away with such a brazen theft in broad daylight in a populated area with security cameras. 🖐🏼
Probably was better in this situation that she didn't use a firearm. I'm sure the prosecutor would've thrown the book at her for defending herself with a firearm from a purse snatching
