Muay Thai Clinch for Street Self Defense: Headbutt, Eye Gauge, etc.
Here are some street self defense variations to the traditional Muay Thai clinch. Some leagues actually allow headbutts, and you can see in the video by @kingleduc how effective they can be. Additionally, eye gauging, head control, elbows, and knees are all viable options in a self defense scenario.

Pro tip for clinch: Keep their heads close to you but their body and arms as far away possible. You don't want to get stabbed when doing the clinch, especially when you can't see their arms.

a very simple counter is just to push ur fist or hand onto the front of their face while their clinching and ur free

All the headbutt stuff is too complex. I think the knee to the face is pretty good and straight forward
