I didn't watch the video I'm going to guess what's in it… Rice, a little bit of kimchi, a small slice of sausage, and weird isotonic drink let me know how close I was ✌️
That storm kit, I bought as a kid from REI in its infancy back in the early 70s. It was the impetus to collecting "kit" and gadgets. Still have that thing somewhere. Now I have those Adventure Medical Kit Survival Paks in my outdoor hiking jackets.
Like the new layout Nathan. The background and wide-angle works well. Now when I start to do some reviews I'm going to have to change mine, the table with the rations are in a semi circle like yours. Hard to beat rice with just plane milk, sugar and butter. Never would have thought of corn soup. Excellent job my friend.
Wow what a neat little JSDF if you can call it that lol, i think this is a civilian type ration cause it didn’t have hardly anything besides the mains lol. I was hoping for an action packed JSDF FRH to be wizzing away lol. I like the set up you can see a lot more, and what a wall of rations in the back drop, looks like you got your winter time review work ahead of you lol.
Another great video keep em coming. I have 8 niece's and nephews we all love watching your videos and then trying to find them and buy them to try ourselves I just can't believe how much they like this stuff for kids 5 to 14 years old.
Nice review and nice new background Nathan. But this is a really small ration. In Germany we would say: “ This is something for a hollow tooth“ This won't even satisfy your hunger. No drinks, no accessories?
Hi Nathan…great ration and review…I reviwed a Japanese chicken and tomato and thought it was one of the best rice dish rations to date….not had the corn soup though…did look a little bland?….looking at that table i think we could open a store ….Amazing how they stack up…I"ve aquired a similar stack and now have nowhere near enough time to review them all…..I think if i stopped buying now it would still be about year and half before I finish them….Just can't stop buying though….becoming an obsession….lol…ATB…..Mick
Heh… GIs carry hot sauce, the JSDF carries soy sauce. 😉 P.S. — I could see Japanese soldiers carrying those small packets of rice seasoning that you just sprinkle on (plain white rice is kinda meh, TBH)

It kills me that you are able to get ANY JSDF rations! I would LOVE to get ahold of one of these.

Actually not a bad idea having two mains in case something sucks.
Wowwwww so many stuff to come yum 🙂 In Holland we have such a mini tiny Key Hanger…. with pepper and salt etc for Truckdrivers etc. Super man 🙂
You've got some rations to chow down on over the next couple of months, by the look of things.
Japanese and Chinese rations both appear to be very basic in terms of quantity and taste.
I would say that is just the mains out of of a 24hr ration. Lottsa stuff missing out of it.
You keep saying "Boys" I'm not offended in anyway at all, but I'm definitely a Woman, does this now mean I'm one of the boys? Sweet!
