To be honest, I was really surprised to see how he handled the situation like a champ. I gotta say, this cop had a really good training, and maybe a lot of other Brazilian cops also have good training, they have really now what they are doing. Good job.
From my point of view it didn't look like too many people were on the street and he had both hands on the fire arm and it seems as though he was placing his shots pretty good.
Don't know about Brazil, but in the U.S. if the victim runs away and the perps let him get away, is it legally pertinent to go shooting at them as they're riding away?
Even if ur a left u can easily turn off the bike by pressing the red kill switch just beside the right throttle, can be done with a flick of a thumb. Nevertheless, really nice marksmanship by the cop and glad no innocent got hurt
Well im glad he got them, BUT that was a lot of shot winged. God only knows who else could have gotten hit with stray bullets. There were a lot of stores on that strip.
Legend has it that if you look up persistence in the Encyclopædia Britannica, there is a photo of this guy – he really wanted to shoot them, and shoot them, and shoot them, and shoot them some more, and again… fantastic!
It's entirely irresponsible to take shots at this distance. That being said, 90% of cops in Rio de Janeiro are part of organized crime themselves, so they are totally fine with entirely irresponsible acts.
It looked like he had a pretty clear lane all the way to his targets. That being said, I would STRONGLY hope that he did things differently had there been more foot and/or vehicular traffic out and held his fire.
Toast is good
Have a great Sunday, John
Hell de Janeiro…

I am beginning to think that Brazilian officers are never ON duty.

And this is the exact reason I train from all distances even tho i hope I never have to at all. ABSOLUTE excellent job of definding one's self!!! 🥃🥃💯
Why is there no toast emoji?

He hit 1, possibly 2 of the bad guys, I'll forgive him.😊🌏
Did a great job of picking his shots
Criminals get to decide when to START to try to kill you. Defenders should be able to decide when to STOP trying to get killed.
bruh these others countries are such shit holes
Saw lots of available cover that he did not utilize.
The people at the store are so used to gunfire they didn’t even run inside while the dude was shooting 😂
VERY sketchy!
If they are within 50-75 yards, I would shoot, 75+ yards I would hold fire.
2 dudes on a motorcycle is mostly bad news
he is defending himself, but still an absolute victim.
LOVE to see it
way sketchy even as a marksman

Any shot past 40yds you better know that backdrop.
I lives in Rio for about two years as a photojournalist. I can tell you that every day is a grand theft auto day

I wish he would have killed them

I would approve of immigration by off duty Brazilian police officers.
