It is an automatic car. 95% of cars here are manual, cheaper to get. automatic cars are seen as an luxury feature. Many robbers can't drive automatics. Usually they steal manual cars because its the common stuff here. It takes an hour to learn to drive a manual transmission vehicle, but fortunately most criminals aren't bright enough to take that hour to have someone teach them.
I think a hardened career criminal would have came out of that car with his rifle blazing!!! However, that bad guy probably wasn't so hardened!!! Especially when he was face to face with two cops that were carrying firearms!!! Attempted car theft doesn't carry as big a punishment as assaulting an officer, I'm sure!!! Or any other crime he would have committed in the contagion of aberration that would have followed, after the fact!!! What do you think???
Lol i can kinda drive stick. My buddy has taught me in his car a couple times but he told me that every manual is a little different and it can be hard to drive a stick that your not familiar with.
In that second video, I was screaming at my computer screen like….."NOOOO don't lay down behind the truck while this idiot who tries to steal the truck can't drive it." lol….I'm glad he didn't get run over.
Don't forget that sticking around leaves you as a potential target for the bad guy to vent his frustration at not being able to make off with the vehicle.
