Active Self Protection says:

For those saying an officer cannot remove a driver from the car during a traffic stop and perform an external pat down, this has been settled case law for over 50 years. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pennsylvania_v._Mimms

Hops And Lead says:

5 shots and none hit? Damnit

Patrick MacFadden says:

The money he had to spend on tags went to drugs, and an illegal possession of a weapon by a felon. Another example of how Felons and bad people don't nobody Laws. Solution: No Parole

Kelly Green says:

I think you can judge how accurate it is when someone says "I know my rights" by the amount of times they say it. Once, and maybe they do. Broken record. No sir.

BFTR says:

I gotta, I like this channel, however, they kiss the a ss of the police. As wrong as this dude is here, having a controlled substance, the cops endangered everyone because they made a mistake on their approach. Prove me wrong.

Carlos Tovar says:

Was he really going to a bible study?

Jack Perry says:

Doesn't matter. I'm sure he's out if jail already. Dealing drugs and hurting people. This country is to soft on crime

jmflying says:

Another extensive criminal history allowed to roam free and commit more crimes. Contact all your elected idiots and demand thee strike laws.

Ray Duke says:

It appeared the deputy was in an unmarked vehicle or at least a slick top. The deputy came on pretty strong right out of the gate so I agree there was more to it than an out of date registration.

Darkmatch Steve says:

The “dragging” occurs as the suspect drives off at the beginning. It’s maybe a foot or less but the cop was still holding on as he started to drive away. It’s still a bit of a stretch but it could have been bad there

Jedi Knight says:

You guys need to check out the YouTube channel SGV news KNOW YOUR RIGHTS

Bad Hombre says:

Hispanic guy pulled over for tags and being barked at to step outside…
ASP- he must be a bad guy 👨🏾

C.Brannan says:

Cops instinct was spot on.

Clark Kent says:

Thank you for not saying ghost gun.

Imissmy peep says:

Get out of the house. Put your hands on the…put your hands on the hood. The hood???!!, Really? Officer was rattled from the start and seems like he needs way more training. I hope that officer finds this channel and learns a good bit. And gets more training.

highoctanehotrod says:

The biggest issue I have with this video is like Mike says it lacks context..IF the officer doesn’t have any more info than the guy has a 3 year expired tag then his response is pretty ridiculous..but chances are he knows more (let’s hope). As a former LEO I have unfortunately seen on a few occasions officers blow things out of proportion so it does happen so the context is important. At the end of the day the dude was wrong even if the cop over reacted..but at the same time the more cops are second judged the less decent people want to go into the profession and the more wannabes who otherwise would be lucky to get a security job will slip into the ranks and the more we will see “cops” over reacting..it’s a vicious cycle.

Julez Fallen Union says:

Hey, a local degenerate. Well, thanks for taking out the trash.

carfo says:

seems like whenever an officer asks to check them for a firearm and they say no they have a firearm on them

Texas Bonn says:

Is the Cop wanting to kill a guy??? I see too many of these that these psychos allow escalation just to get there marbles. Sad deal.

Bryan Enlow says:

Well done by the officers here. In CA this guy may never spend a day in prison but should spend years. Until there is actually some penalty for criminal behavior things will not improve.

not_yet_nifter - says:

The way that the officer escalated the situation so aggressively points to a deeper cause for the detention then just expired tags.
