Hi John. I live in QLD Australia. We are having a HUGE problem with youth crime at the moment. There are basically little to no consequences for minors who commit crimes. So even if he got caught, he'd be back on the street with hours. Also, and this is a big problem, is that by law people here are NOT allowed to use any kind of force defend themselves from someone. if someone breaks into your house, You can not use any environmental weapon to protect your loved ones or your property. This is probably the reason company employees immediately surrender and comply.
Comon John! Here in Australia we dont have MASSACERS ! on a REGULAR BASIS like 200 this year (till mid May) in USA. How many do they have in Japan where there are FEW guns!?
