Basically, the clerk let his fear take over and he gave up. He didn't stay in the fight at all, he just gave up when he realized things were getting real.
He got off 2 rounds MAX. That weak draw and hold caused a FTF and left him out of the fight. I do not believe he emptied the gun at all, and without a decent hold, that gun was going to jam anyways. This isn't a capacity lesson, it's a grip/hold lesson.
