The problem with this is that a lot of businesses like this don’t allow employees to have firearms on the premises. And don’t always have security. But if the last one was a racetrac gas station that is strange because they usually do have security.
The shift manager is supposed immediately give up the money and do whatever the robber asks. She is trained for situations like this, Complying with the robber will get him out of the store faster. But Of course every robbery is unique to the robber. And not every country let’s business’s owners keep guns or allow there citizens to conceal carry.
Here In Canada most long rifles and assault style weapons are banned. And handguns are considered restricted ; because of a mass shooting that occurred in Nova Scotia where someone dressed up as a RCMP officer. bought a badge, a uniform and decals for his fake police cruiser from online sources and ended up taking the lives of 22 people and injuring 3 others with multiple long rifles in under 24 hours before being killed by RCMP.
I do believe in Canada there should be a movement to arm citizens and let said citizens defend themselves as necessary and the laws do promote that. But there are grey areas for instance if you shot someone that doesn’t have a gun. You can be charged for assault with a deadly weapon and in worse cases scenarios man slaughter. The laws should lean towards home owners and renters and not to criminals that decide they need to make an extra buck

Nothing infuriates me more than watching criminals preying on the weak and often defenseless! You know what kinda of mental damage and trauma is done to someone who survive incidents such as these? Most people will never feel same or comfortable ever again all because a scumbag don't feel like working as hard as the rest of us for what they want!
