Yo Aye says:

It obviously wasn’t a ricochet, glad you cleared that out, it was a missed shot by the cop

Dean Henson says:

good Samaritans must have left the State already

Rory says:

There Security all need sacking! Useless bunch of nobs

David Taylor says:

Someone help me understand why the cop is justified in shooting a guy on sight because he WAS beating the poor woman before. He was no longer in the act. I didn't hear any commands issued. They are not there to carry out justice. Am I wrong?

Robert Steiner says:

This is the natural result of a legal framework that punishes citizens criminally and financially for defending themselves and others. It turns the able bodied in to the unwilling, the disabled into the ignorant, and emboldens the predators. There’s no other way to explain this.

sudan voice says:

You fuck up in the usa,
You dont know whats right or wrong ,
No need for killing the man and 14 years girl, officers were very scared they are not professional he has no weapon he could be mad or has mental issue or overdose you can't shoot unless he starts shooting as an officer you sacrifice not Killing

K D says:

Rule #4 of safe gun handling, always be sure of your target and what's beyond it. If you or I pulled the trigger under the guise of saving lives, we would be in jail right now with no bond. Particularly if we were in Commiefornia. Expect this Hero to get a commendation.

Aaron W says:

hiding in public change room when theres perps inside the store is BIG NONO. When u hear annoucement get OUT ASAP.

Allan Fox says:

My condolences to the family of this little girl…and peace be with them and the officer…. This is so sad for so many

Rando Jones says:

Officer had a clear line of sight to a squared off target from 10 yards away and MISSED with a rifle. To me that is absolutely unacceptable.
Sure he was stressed but when are you not going to break shots while stressed. Target was a large man in a well lit area who wasn't moving.

Human Clay says:

The cops were 10 minutes to late. Indoors like malls, stores, gas stations etc. should be using handguns exactly for the purpose that girl sadly got killed. Rifle cartridges penetrate multiple walls.

John Bellamy says:

Condolences for the family and the little girl that past away. I pray that that woman who was brutally beaten recovers and I pray for the healing from the physical emotional damage that took place. I would boycott the store almost because they didn't take the necessary precautions to protect their customers. They were too late in calling law enforcement. Someone, store owner whatever should have made sure that all the customers were out of the store.

Ernst Heidegger says:

My first thought at seeing that rifle – With all the money and training LAPD has, why on earth in the year of our Floyd 2021 is LAPD using what appears to be a surplus M16A1? Agreed the officer did everything right and A+ for effort, what a tragic outcome. What are the odds, of all places for the perp to be and get shot, that there just so happens to be someone hiding on the other side of the wall in the line of fire. Buy a friggin lottery ticket. I don't see anything prosecutable, but his life is definitely over. Best wishes to the family of the little girl and to him. The true crime here is the perp being free to walk the streets, as I'm sure he has a lengthy criminal history that in a sane society would have had him institutionalized and/or in prison by now.

Chris Corros says:

Im lost for words. Tragic incident.

Tawfik Al haj says:

worth killing

simplicity! says:

They should have emptied the whole clip on his ass. Rest In Peace to that little girl.

Perry says:

The life of one 14 year old girl is worth more than all the lives of every US cop. She had no choice and they, the adults, had many choices up to and including that fateful moment.

Bella Apple says:

Why are people still shopping walking around. Why didn't they ask everyone to get out of the store. This is crazy people just walking around like nothing is happening
