Fast Food at 3am is just a bad idea anyway. Even in the safest place in America. You’re not getting fresh hot food. You’re getting the stuff that’s been sitting the warmer since midnight. Most places go down to just a cook and cashier/manager after 1am. They intentionally cook up extra food and leave it in the warmer. You might get fresh fries but, that’s only if there is a line. They do that and get away with it as most people coming between 1am and 4am are too stoned or drunk to care.
John, this is unfair. Comparing Houston to Brazil. You yourself said a few weeks ago that you have so many Houston videos because HPD put videos up unlike other city PDs. There are many more cities who have higher crime rates totally and relatively in the US. Please be fair to Houston.
I always keep my doors locked, roll windows up after placing my order and usually keep my car in drive (with enough space in front of me to peel off if necessary). I also try to look around to check out the scene. I'll be honest – I will sometimes play a game on my phone while waiting in line – but not after this. Also, I don't do fast food that often, and I definitely don't go out this late at night. I play the "what if" game on the regular. So, what if this happens, or what if that happens – how will I respond, what will I do? I do enjoy your videos.
Calling out the victim for being stupid for wanting to get some food it's like calling out a rape victim for the way she dressed. Have we all just given up on society. What we should be doing is calling for and carrying out extreme measures against these miscreants.
