Hi John, the officer with the Ar15 said he fired into the motor on the car to incapacitate it so it couldn't be driven towards them because of the threats that were made by the suspect.
John, I love you man. But I have to disagree. I feel the price for entering into deadly force ought to be a little higher than a possible misunderstanding that there is an officer caught in your rear door. What if the driver did not realize this? We will never know.
shit cops couldve done this way differently without them having to shoot 30 rounds i cant belive there was a passenger they could have killed him even tho he is inocent
I am surprised you didn't mention their first mistake which allowed the felon to use the car as a weapon… they should have pulled up tight enough to block the car in and then used their open doors to crouch and order the driver out. very basic police tactic…
@ anyone defending the criminals just remember they would likely sacrifice anyone of you or your loved ones for less than $100 if they were given the option to magically do so.
I don't understand people that get angry over police shootings. Like, your own citizens have the right to defend themselves with deadly force if need be, why should that be different to police?
However until we can see what he was shooting at I am a bit iffy on that rifle. I guess you could justify it with the fact he could go and use that car against the public if he ran? Idk, we'll have to see what was going on on the other side

Was there a negligent discharge from the deputy as he was moving to the trunk of his car I thought I saw a flash
nice shooting
Well, You know they both had glock 17s
I don’t see why the controversy.
Why didn't they just shoot him in the feet??
Have no sympathy for passenger. Dont want cops shooting near you? Then dont hang around violent felons.
Love to hear that A-Hole was death!!!

Of course they're facing scrutiny, the people in the car "didn't do nothin"

Cause and effect!!
I guess the uproar is that they lost another democrat voter.
Good shoot👍🏼
Honestly grabbing the rifle AND SHOOTING is just because he always wanted to use it in a real fight prob.

the passenger must be Chuck Norris grandson. 40 shots nothing happens

MY SUGGESTION: Cop at the open passenger door should've tossed in a grenade and ran.
Would not be a cop in CAlforn for any amount of money. Let the Maxist Govener arest him.
