Rylan says:

Running isn't always a good idea. I can sprint flat out for about 15-20 seconds, almost always love in tracksuit bottoms when I'm not at work (most of the time I'm at work so trousers) if I sprinted and got caught that's likely my ass, especially against mutliple assailants. Fighting is sometimes the better option.

Nitin A says:

Running is not always an option and even if you get an opportunity to run, you should know yourself better and know if you can run how fit are you how fast are you. And i bet most people aren't fit enough to run even 50 meters. It is much easier said than done type of thing in a self defence scenario. Stay fit and learn to defend your self as you never know when you might need it. This video was just amazing, thanks for the video and keep up the good work.

Demoney says:

I had an altercation with a taxi driver in Asia. I was a little boozy. He thought I was an easy target and much worse, so tried to rob me. At some point he hit me, I fought back. He ran to the cab of his car and grabbed a machete. When I saw what he had, I ran out of my flip flops like an Asterix comic and straight across the road to the resort/hotel I was staying in. I didn't slow down for the flight of stairs and hit them at full sprint landing in a battered grazed mess at the bottom. I turned and yelled at him to "come and get me mother f@×#er!!!"
He stood at the top of the stairs looking down. The lights in the rooms began turning on and he quickly departed, at which point I returned to regather my flip flops.
If he had of come down the stairs I'm not sure how I would have gone. Maybe fought him off or tried to disarm him with a chair like a lion tamer. Lol.
Running is often a good option. But I think you need to know where you are going. Seeking help, to evade or finding ground that better suits your defense is important.

Jerry Barker says:

I'm a truck driver I could run for about 2 feet lol

I would say run if you can get to an escape, vehicle or shelter within reasonable distance. If your winded your toast for self defense. Stand your ground and go down swinging, if it's your time it's your time.

I don't understand what you're trying to say here. Is it okay? Yes. Sometimes. You can't know until you're there. And even then. You never really know.

I have a bad knee. I ain't running. May God have mercy on the person who has cornered me. I don't think he was ready for a fight to the death but I am.

Salvador Kujo says:

I would think the best thing to do is get one good hit in to stagger the attacker and then run.
But obviously it only applies when confronted by a certain individual attacker and not in all scenarios.
