Have a pad lock on your carry on bag that has a big enough loop on it to get your middle finger through. This makes a small knuckle duster and also you can slap someone with the lock body in your hand and give them a real crack on the head. A padlock on around 8 inches of a para-cord is also a cosh.
So many things in our pockets today you'd need 100 squats each morning only to walk. There are way too many things today that can already be brutal or even deadly (keys, pen, flashlight, even the nut in your invasion video you put around some paracord, put it around your finger then).
Good luck getting this past TSA. I had a mini-tool (all under 1" long & dull) that was confiscated on the 11th time through airport security. I'm a formed LEO with friends working for TSA/HSI. There is no rhyme or reason to their confiscation. I even ran the blade of the "sharp" object down my arm to prove it was harmless, but they still refused to let me carry it onto the plane.
It was at that point I lost all respect for TSA. All I'm trying to share is that if someone tries to get this device or something similar onto a plane, be prepared to have it confiscated. Pack it in your checked baggage and hope no one steals it.
Like it but I prefer to walk around with a DNA collecting tactical pen. I've never tried going through an airport with it though. Because I don't fly anywhere anymore.
TSA approved improvised self defense items. A knitting needle believe it or not is permitted as a carry on. And you can get some very large knitting needles. A sharpened number 2 pencil is also permitted to carry on which is my favorite. I bring enough for a few of my fellow passengers in case we need to quell an attack.
"Former CIA officer" doesn't exist, you're always CIA.

Watch TSA start confiscating them once they find it.
Dont tell my wife i said that. What a punk

Le "Yoogo", et le "Kubotan" sont aussi deux outils de défense passe partout, surtout le Yoogo !
This man needs some more training. Why is he making a video about these simple subjects? Is this for children?
Interesting
Good stuff. Thank you
