NYPD along with LAPD should not be allowed to carry firearms. Since normal law abiding citizens go through hoops and possibly get granted the right to protect themselves neither should they being off the clock.
Those cops are ON DUTY and working in plain clothes, and they never have the option to take action or not take action weather on or off duty. If confronted with a crime they are to take appropriate action.

First time I've watched this channel in awhile. John lost 100lbs and grew out the beard and hair. Looks like a different guy.
Maybe that's why so many Brazilian off duty cops act. In Brazil, cops are obligated to act always. On or off duty.
