I have a wooden bat for home defence as I've had two home incursions from the same person. It's started again now this person has come out of prison. I want to know how to use it properly. What really matters to me is using the bat in closed confines like a hallway, effectively, ensure it's not taken off of me by the attacker who happens to be extremely strong and nimble.

Still the best deployment technique I've found. Works very well for me. As for baton types & brands, I like my Bonowi camlocks. I have 2, both in different lengths. However, we all have our preferences.
