A young woman is winning national praise for fighting off her attacker at the gym. Now, some women are taking self-defense lessons. Nashali Alma was working out in her building’s gym in Florida. After she opened the door for a man, he tried to attack her. Alma relentlessly protected herself before the suspect fled the scene. Experts say her using a forceful voice sent a message to her assailant that she was not gonna back down.

I'm happy she is alive but the guy looks like he was drunk and sloppy or God protected her no way a girl can fight of a guy so easily either that or he was hesitant to get caught or her fight back thru him off guard, she did good in what she did but she should have never opened the door for him, I experienced something similar as a 13 year old went to visit my friend and her brother said to come in he used to date my sister and called me cunada which is an endearing word for sister in law sat with him in the couch and waited he said his sister would be out in a bit I was very naively calm he then told me to go check in the room after I did that's when he tried to force me I was so scared I started fighting back and he acted like this guy sloppy I feel like he was enjoying my fear because he even laughed at me at one point I said a lot of things I screamed and even got scissors at one point to scare him towards the end of my struggling him I cried out to God and don't remember the rest I just remember leaving and walking home that's when I saw a friend and told him what he tried to do and he hugged me and cried with me I feel like it was God that protected me because , what rapist let's you walk away, he litterly looked like the devil possessed him and I'm just thankful that nothing happened because no one would have believed me, knowing how it is in Mexican traditions they would have said why was she so stupid to go in the room with him , when I told his sister once that her brother tried to hurt me once she put a sad face she didn't know how he hurt me but In her eyes I think she did I feel like he might have done something to her too
