Happy Fathers Day to all. Permission to offer 1 sidebar. When a sidekick is hyper-extended and trapped as shown, the downward elbow strike may also target the pit of the hip (closing the space gap makes this convenient). My instructor did this elbow strike to the hip when teaching me (1975) and the pain echoed through my body as I collapsed. Could not walk correctly for about 5 days. Fast forwarding to now I can imagine Master Wong's elbow to the leg, and / or followed up to the pit of the hip pit elbow before the dop to the floor. Just saying. Thanks. Respects. Peace.
