Another thing…There is a theory I heard once. That birth control ruined everything because it alters a woman'a perception of men and she ends up rewarding men with more beta traits than alpha traits.
The generation(s) including most people in their 20s and 30s is/are lost. There is a trend of poor work ethic, substance use (cannabis especially), and this nihilistic/pessimistic outlook on life. I have met a few who are of normal body weight and they have some success but the vast majority have no interest in self defense or fitness as a way of life. The few who are interested, let us help them and encourage them and motivate them.
The human brain is wired to recognize that physical exertion requires energy, and evolution has conditioned us to conserve it when possible. This is why many people find it challenging to view exercise as a necessary activity. Our brains instinctively resist using energy on tasks that don't appear immediately essential for survival. For most, overcoming this natural tendency requires a strong will and discipline to view exercise as a valuable investment in long-term health and well-being.
The reason humans were physically stronger in the past isn't because we exercised more, its simply because every day activities required us to use more muscle and if we did not it meant starvation. Unfortunately someone doing a deadlift does not equate to the same thing.
In a sense, evolution has made it harder for us to prioritize physical activity.
I have just come across your channel and it is unfortunate that people don't want to maintain any standards of fitness for themselves. I think part of it has to do with us having the privilege to indulge in whatever you want whenever you want. That in combination with any conveniences that one could have some how equates to a more fun proposition. Why take accountability and responsibility when I can distract myself. (And of course, I am speaking hypothetically, I don't actually think this way.)

Itβs a shame for a human, especially a man, to not pursue any level of their physical and mental abilities.
Side note: in the 90s they literally told us not to lift with our back or we would injure it. Huh?? Lol
