Dion Johnson says:

I disagree with some things said in this video. Some actions of the home owner were negligent, however, like officers have an obligation to protect the community (which includes property), citizens may feel that they have an obligation to protect their own property. The home owners heart was in the right place but his mind wasn't.

Kleng Amarth says:

Yes, John, I'd have a gunfight over a G because to some people, that's the difference between a home and a life on the streets.

Tell me you've said this statement without telling me you've said this statement "I don't need to take a firearms training class. I know how to use my gun."

Zigbee Gooblesnort says:

Dumba$$ killed his own car, and walked right by good cover… the tree. He's lucky the thug wasn't lucky. ☠️

Joseph B says:

Warning shot was a big mistake. No cover was another one.

Supercharged Steve says:

Dumb. First, why is your car left unlocked?? 2nd, going out with a rifle and blindly shooting up your own car is about as ignorant as I've seen. And no one was hit, shocking.

yngwierox says:

The news story said he had a firearm in his truck that was stolen. Not smart at all to leave a fire arm unlocked in a car, but it explains more so why he would try to stop them

Mister Arminius says:

The fallacy of the "tough guy attitude"… The manner the victim walks up to the car with his rifle and then firing a warning shot… Just plain stupidity.

Ango Gablogian says:

The owner was an ex marine. Let him do what he wants to protect his property.

John X says:

Tactical waddle.

Face312 says:

With the lack of training this guy has with a AR it's safe to say he needs professional training and or not to own such a weapon.

Face312 says:

Lost a lap top and thousands of damage on the car & could've gotten killed too. I agree the homeowner messed up here..

LoveSweetDreams says:

I saw the news report, he was a military veteran, no charges were filed against him according to the video

Steve Moore says:

it was like he set it up, who leaves a laptop in an unlocked car?

Joe says:

That car probably has a remote entry system he could have locked the doors from inside the house.
And used the panic button feature to let the perp know he sees him.
NO need to go outside until the cops show up if ever or daylight.
