USA very violent? Compared to what? Iceland? New Zealand? Yes, I suppose so. Just a quick search shows the number of reported murders in the USA (330 million pop.?) at about 21000 per year. A lot, yes. In Brazil (220 million pop.?), for example, about 42000 in one year (2021 if I am not mistaken) and that number had a drop of 7% compared to previous years. Brazil seems to come at the 14th place in the World ranking by countries. The USA at number 64. El Salvador takes the lead.
