Let them go and catch them tomorrow. Not worth the criticism or lawsuit if someone innocent dies.

Your Local Shooter says:

Great criticism guys. Sincerely.

OG Rider says:

Pursuit Intervention Technique.

Michael Ripley says:

The aim and shot thru the windscreen was into the forrest🤷🏼‍♂️ Asp is a tree though🤣

lucas trask says:

Great lessons. If chased by the police, drive insanely and they will quit. Talk about encouraging driving insanely.
The world has gone stupid.
Catch him tomorrow?
How? Stolen car.
Even if you see him, know who he is… the DA will toss it instantly when it gets to him. He said, she said.

Ten years ago I probably wouldn't run from a cop for a thousand dollar ticket.
Today? I would just drive away. And report my car as stolen.

Of course I haven't had a ticket since 1974, but the point is valid.

Alex Youngberg says:

Never bring a gun to a GMC Tahoe fight..

RodCornholio says:

The free market would sort this out if given a chance. A VERY unpopular insight. Right now the "solution" (i.e. the suboptimal outcome that you see in the video) is shifted onto government (e.g. the police).
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out, not only reactionary solutions, but preventative ones as well…all the way down to the most important: preventing the perps from becoming perpetrators. I bet my left testicle that the bad guys here were, essentially, made ; they didn't just quit their office job one day and wake up the next with the idea of stealing a vehicle and a weed eater.
But to get to this point, you must at least entertain the notion of not using government for every problem. You need to cast aside, at least momentarily, all those propagandist cop-n-lawyer TV shows, your mommy and daddy's ways of disciplining you, your government schooling, the cult of worshiping first responders, etc. Relax, breathe deeply, set it aside and don't worry because you can always return to it. Consider this…
If you're old enough to recall the early 1990's, imagine someone time-traveled from 2023 and told you:
— you don't need a stamp, envelope, and mail service for most instances
— you don't need to pay 20 cents a minute to make a long distance call
— you don't need a set of encyclopedia's or a trip to the library to find out most things
— you don't need to rent VHS tapes to watch movies
— you don't need paper maps
— you don't need a travel agent or paper tickets
— you don't need a hundred CD's of music
— you don't need canisters of film, film processing time and money, for taking pictures
— you don't need a wall mounted phone
— you don't need an international phone plan to talk to someone around the world
— you don't need a fax machine in most instances
— you don't need an alarm clock plugged into the wall
— you don't need to call anyone to get food delivered
— you don't need to go to the bank to send someone money
— you don't need a TV to watch the news or get a weather report
— you don't need a gigantic electromechanical camera to make home videos
"Why?", you ask.
And the time traveler says, "Because we can do it all on this handheld thing that fits in our pockets."
There is NO WAY, you would believe it. And you couldn't have known how those things would be accomplished. In the same way, you shouldn't demand someone, today, to explain how a freer market will solve problems like in this video, but you now know that it does … if given a chance.
So if you can quiet down the voice inside your head – from years of cultural, governmental, and parental influence – trying maintain your mental homeostasis, you can read more about this in Practical Anarchy (Molyneux) for free (audio also available for free).

Best Regards

If you are going to disable a vehicle with a handgun the radiator is a weak spot.

KellzKillz says:

Srry guys not tryin to give ya shit. I love ur video break downs. I know they save lives n help ppl all the time. But seriously, ur saying a cop that is getting rammed by a truck head on, that he shuldnt shoot because there might be captives?? The truck slowed down enough to jump out a bunch of times.. so if someone didn't want to b in that truck they could have left. They get what they get. Ur buddy rams a cop u might ceatch a chunk of lead for ur stupid decision to steal n be with someone who assaults the ppl we pay to protect us. Anyways keep up the good work guys!

KellzKillz says:

7:10. The person driving the car at this point is assaulting a police officer with their vehicle literally ramming it head-on you shouldn't be aiming at the tires he should be aiming at the back of the guy's head.

KellzKillz says:

So you're saying not to chase people in a stolen car, that just robbed a store doesn't matter what they took. You can't let people get away with crimes or all of society will crumble. You can't just let the bad guys keep stealing and endangering the public. They deserve to be locked up.

Jose Salazar says:

Stop…stop… stop

TheColosiss says:

If you are driving the wrong way, you are a danger to the public. Lethal force is not only authorized, it is a necessity to prevent further harm.

Mag dump the S.O.B. and let the coroner sort it out. I don't want to lose my family to police cowardice…

leonitis 09 says:

I dont think he heard you yell stop, maybe you should try sayin it like 20 or 40 more times and he might hear you and maybe then he will stop

Nunyebizzness says:

Criminals should NEVER be allowed to get away scott free
This liberal idea to not do anyting is crazy
There are other ways to catch bad guys( radios, helicopters etc)
These terrorist must be held accountable!
The swat officer should have mag dumped into the driver

RodCornholio says:

Mike makes the case. Can't disagree.

Guruthos Sindarin says:

Well, clearly bazooka training is in order for local law enforcement.

Pat McBride says:

I'm guessing that after hour 3 the criminals were kind of hoping the cops would find them already.

Thomas B says:

ASP, what I think you are doing here, is advocating for a true police state society. Like what’s in Europe, where if you are doing something illegal it’s not likely the cops will intervene immediately. What they’ll do is identify who you are and apprehend you at your home with 10+ other officers present at 4 in the morning.

But to do so we’ll really need to ramp up CCTV and other such big brother systems in America.

R_O_J Synthetic says:

Surely using the vehicle as a weapon negates any protection from being shot?
Always in favour of the perp 😢

Brian Davis says:

If a bullet or even a tiny fragment hit the distributor cap or a fuel line that would shut the engine down pretty quickly. So from that angle more like 0.01% chance.

M Bell says:

“Is the juice worth the squeeze.” Is the best phrasing. Someone could have died over a car/weed eater. Not worth it, pick up the guy later.

nrs says:

Cops got all excited. They saw too many videos of pits

Premium Member says:

"Shots Fired, Shots Fired" when he was the person who shot. Implying he was shot at when he wasn't? Destroying the stolen vehicle to recover it?

MustyMouse Stream Archive says:

So it's against a policy… that they weren't trained for… No wonder the system is so utterly broken.

This reminds me of when a relative got in trouble at work for not following a policy that wasn't documented anywhere, it just lived in someone's brain. Just utter incompetence from the very top. Retrain the police. All of them. Properly.

Tom's videos says:

100% agree on most chases.

McDylanNuggets says:

The cops would be better off giving the hardware store the money for the stolen item. They spent so much more on this chase and endangered so many others. Not worth it.
