Jiu-Jitsu is an oriental thing. The white people's imitation of it is excellent. If you meet a white person on the street, almost no white person can match an oriental one.유술은 동양의 것이다.백인의 모방은 훌륭했다.길에서 만나면 백인은 거의 다 동양의 상대가 되지 못한다.
Great demo, but I'd like to see techniques where the opponent grabs the hair. Everything I've seen, especially in a girl fight is grabbing hair and throwing hay makers.
What is fascinating to me is that I had learned most of these stand up self defense techniques training in Taekwondo. Korean grandmasters taught me them as part of Taekwondo's self defense. Of course we did not live drill them effectively like in this video, but it is interesting I understand all of them. I ended up eventually training in BJJ, including passing the Gracie Combatives test via video, as well as making it to blue belt rank in an actual gym.
The Japanese Jujitsu club i am at literally teaches everything that was shown in this video. Beyond that, BJJ is completely different. The reason Jujitsu was created was self defense and they no longer teach it.
Infelizmente 98% das academias no Brasil não ensinam mais a defesa pessoal o povo agora só ensinam berimbolojitsu mirabolantejitsu lapelajitsu e firulajitsu.
Hello from Russia. IMPORTANT NOTE: When you watch women short videos about self-defense, it all comes down to a kick in the groin. This is frankly annoying When I watched this video, I saw a strong woman. I respect her. These are the kind of woman you need to take care of. Protect not only her body but also her soul.
I would really like to give her a friendly hug. And I would really like to be friends with such a woman.
My 8 year old daughter has been doing BJJ for a little over a year now. Just showed her this video for inspiration. She met Professor Royler Gracie, so this video was more impactful than you know. Thanks! You have a new subscriber
Very, very nice! I used to practice both judo and karate kyokushin. I used them both in the streets for self-defense throughout my life ( I am 60 now ) about 80 times. Both arts worked very well with judo being way more efficient since one can throw or sweep a person the same way irrespective of amount adrenaline or drugs he has in him. The same kick or punch that can incapacitate someone in a dojo will make a little to no impression on a guy who is way high on drugs ( this is a reason why military feeds amphetamines to soldiers during an armed conflict ). All in all ( my opinion, based on real-life experience ) jiu-jitsu or judo is way better than karate for self defense. Preferably… practice both.
