In this video, I am talking about Fully Automatic Weapons for Self Defense. I definitely feel that many people in the community truly do not understand the purpose of automatic weapons. Hopefully, in this video I can share some information to help you make better decisions. Please join me in the comment section below. Thanks for watching and God Bless!

JH6 Out!
I don't like fully automatic weapons, I think they're a waste of money, and a waste of ammo. I rented a few to shoot at Knob Creek Gun Range in West Point, Ky I thought it was fun but I blew through 50 rounds in 5 seconds when I fired the Thompson SMG and MG 42, ( both took the same amount of time to shoot.)
Greetings from Kentucky…."cool," "fun," and "awesome," all well describe a full auto weapon and exactly my sentiments toward my AK. But for front line home defense? I Don't think so. For the range and other situations? That's what they were designed for and where they excel.
Sounded like the wind was picking up out there. I agree with you while heartedly brother. Accountability for our shots fired would make any full-auto a bad choice.
If the U.N invades every American citizen should own 10 saws per house hold mounted in their windows and on top of their vehicles God bless the old America
Every round you fire has a lawyers name on it. Dumping a 30 round mag at a guy in a few seconds is not necessary in a self defense situation. Autos are fun but not practical.
perfectly stated; spray and pray is great to suppress a dozen bad guys trying to kill you or your bros, but like Colonel Cooper often said, properly placed shots eliminate the need for expended brass – and as you also said, explaining why you shot a bad guy, AND the old lady on the street walking her dog, AND the guy who just pulled into his driveway, AND the electric company truck driving down the street… with your full auto rock and roll panic mode of throwing a hundred rounds all over creation… nope. We need more Carlos Hathcock and less Rambo for real life urban mess.
Binary trigger for civilians is the fastest defense trigger a person would need having a double tap ability on the pull and release of the trigger is maybe a value to have what's your thoughts? That being said I agree with you on defensive fights if there is mortal danger lethal force justified if they are running away it's police officers problem call them that's why we got them.
I disagree. There's a difference between a SAW (mainly designed for suppressive fire) vs. a class 3 sub machine gun, which would be far superior for self defense and HD as you can put a 3 round incapacitating burst into a bad guy's chest faster than an AR15 or Glock 19 double tap. This is why the Secret Service and SWAT teams use class 3 submachine guns. They don't have them for suppressive fire (although they can be used for that role). They have them because they are superior weapons to semi-auto in close quarters and against body armored threats (5.7 especially).
First video I have ever disagreed with from Jarhead6, we should have full auto in case or enemies foreign or domestic. I still love ya, still subbed… But no thumbs up today LOL
I don't know, I think you could run a couple blank rounds through a Ma Due and stop a home invasion with out hunting anyone. The hard part is getting your wife to let you install a tripod in your bedroom 😉 love your channel bro 👍
Well said but if you are not properly trained you are going to waste ammo and God forbid you hit an innocent while you are spraying the guy that walked on your lawn, you will have to live with the fact you killed a kid in his parent's living room.
I really don't see why you would need one for self defense You are not trying to Tare up your house just get a 12gauge it will do the job and outstanding video jarhead
[Edit:] I agree, for small arms, full auto is for suppressing fire. It's a support function. For home and personal defense, it's simply not the right tool for the job, and it would cause physical danger to others and property, and legal/civil risk to you.
I agree. We should be allowed to own fully auto weapons, but they're not good for self defense. There are too many disadvantages that you pointed out.

in the falklands war
the british had semi auto SLR's (FN FAL)
and the argies had fully auto FN's
we all know how that went
I agree bro full auto might be an overkill but boy do I miss the saw

Good info and points as auto's would be some fun range time though…Good stuff….
Jury would view that as overkill in a self defense shooting when the guy looks like Swiss cheese…
Congratulations on 40K brother!
Hey jarhead what gun are you carrying today
So what! I want some and it's my right!
Better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it. If given the choice I'll take a select fire option

Excellent video and advice.

Yeah I'm with you. Outside of very specific roles, full auto and even 3 round burst fire is something best left for range fun and brass rainbows.

makes sense to me.
