All carry a good pepper spray, and also all should go learn how to use a gun and carry. Take courses get certified and practice weekly at your local gun range or back yard. Its a must these days. Especially in cities. I worry more about bears and coyotes where I am. 😂

When my wife was my girlfriend, I told her to NEVER PULL IN HEAD FIRST in our garage. I learned that from my father in the 70’s. This includes parking spaces at stores or events.

John you really should cover the Jin shin video where he rear ended someone and it caused a incident where he was attacked and then retrieved a firearm pointed it at the group of people but in that group of people a guy had a gun and ended up shooting Jin

It's an on-duty shooting by an officer that used to work for the place I work for now. I think I know your take and how I'd have handled the situation, but I'd like to hear your breakdown.
It's a short video and resulted in a death and a Second Degree Homicide conviction.
Attention probably would not have helped too much without skills or ability – fighting/running – to support the time that attention buys. Spidey sense (intuition) could have, e.g. "Stay inside the vehicle gals for just a few, lock your doors, something doesn't feel right. I noticed a white car that went by. If it returns, I'm driving out of here." BACK into driveway and stay for a few minutes.

Best answer? Stay strapped. At least a knife or something.
Situational awareness. I was followed home from a drugstore. I kept circling until the crook made a mistake, then I ditched him.
Get a big dog. Feed him red meat, only sporadically.
Carry a firearm.
Know how to use it proficiently.
