Was a 1 minute intro really necessary? Cut it shorter more ppl will stay and watch. It’s well beyond most people’s attention spans. Hell almost beyond mine. Just a friendly tip.
Thanks for the video, however, as with everything Janich does, it breaks Down into an impractical flow drill. I’d rather see more real world applications.
I have 20+ years in Martial Arts. These techniques also work with a kubotan as well. This is one of the best.. if not “the best” video’s that I have seen on the tactical pen. Thank You Mr. Janich for posting such a great video for free. You honor all of those instructors who trained You in the past, by now helping others.
Believe me, anything can be a weapon. a pen, pencil, keys, beer can, anything you can get you hands on. Just remember that when someone is attacking you, they are trying to collect for the Red Cross……..quote from “the Enforcer”…..:)
Great Vid! I do not have a tactical pen, but I always have in my hand a steel pen. My opinion, having a “tactical” pen is just another reason for some scumbag to sue you for having a “lethal” weapon. However, still a great vid and these techs can be used with almost anything you can hole in you hand.
not sure if this was answered but my opinion is yes ..any Metal pen can work. tuffwrighter was a mod that is a clicky pen ver in this video looks like a real pen not a Benchmade weapon its the red pen at the end.. they can split a log search tuffwrighter here on YT or google it
I like my Boker Plus Pen, there’s no points on it so some damm fool can’t say it’s a lethal weapon. I would have to un-screw the cap to get to a point.
This was a great video Mr. Janich. I carry a knife and pistol everywhere except…work. I cannot carry as you said a purpose built weapon in my job, i am not allowed, there is alot of security where i work, and i am checked every day passing through and out. Needless to say i discovered a long time ago that a tactical pen is great for me, there are also a couple of friends of mine that carry them in work as well, these can be a devastating weapon if wielded correctly, thank you again.
