Michael Lynn says:

Hi, John: Thanks for emphasizing the moral and ethical use of firearms. Sometimes, I wonder if a certain segment of the gun-toting population becomes inured to their exposure to firearms and honestly don't feel like it's a big deal. This falls along the lines of getting sloppy with firearms safety rules – people just tend to become nonchalant around things and activities that they are used to seeing or doing on a regular basis. For that reason, it's good to have a youtube personality, like you, emphasizing this, not just providing lip service, and certainly not just focusing on tactics, techniques, or gear (even though those are all important and fun too).

What has attracted me to firearms has been the training methodology and well-roundedness of knowing the law, ethics, as being able to save lives (not just take them). My interest definitely wasn't for the adrenaline rush or the loud bang or any sort of machismo…

Getting out of the danger zone is a good idea. I think your videos satisfy my curiosity on how real events go down, so that I don't be stupid and hang around just to be a spectator of some real life action, and then get accidentally drawn into it as a victim or as a part of the news story…

In the case of this FL man, he probably had no training, no mentor, or no role model, so whatever his financial circumstances, low self-esteem can bring out the gun-brandishing frustration in him. We just have to be aware of how untethered people can become from societal norms and be ready to act to either get out of the danger zone, or to put down a threat (if presented with no other choice).

MrMJmusicLover says:

When you're too use to mass shootings. No one runs at the sight of a guy who brings a AR 15 in store. 😐

Badfinger says:

The second he walks in and starts threatening the clerk I would believe he’s fair game. I’m sorry but if my kids are in there with me he’s going to take the room temperature challenge. A sling arm is one thing but that situation there would be no time defend if it went south.

Jaxon Dakota says:

Yea them other dudes standing around like they stupid. If I see a white dude walk-in up with an assault riffle, I’m outta there too. You never know if he ready to smoke anything moving. Y’all forgot about Vegas, or that shoot at that festival the other day? Y’all better wake tf up

FasNuf ZL1 says:

Good thing he wasn’t in the McDonalds drive thru being told they were out of chicken McNuggets!

GjS ThreeFourSevinOneOne says:

Lot's of judgmental comments on Florida. Not any different than any inner city including states banning firearms. I lived in metro NYC and LA and spent time in Albuquerque. Lot's of stupid and dangerous souls there. All these places had 4 -5 shooting deaths most days. on the news. Before you judge check you crime statistics.

Claymore says:

Well it is Florida, soooooooo……

Duviel Hernandez says:

What if any of those bystanders had a gun on them ?

John 3:16 says:

Yes, I agree there is lots of stupidity in the video especially that perp. He makes all gun owners look bad and another reason for not-so-right politicians try to take guns away from us.

alison cook says:

I guess their is more than one customer in that store waiting to get the drop on him and thought better about it.

Kevin G says:

I hate to say this but if I saw this guy coming in the store I would have shot him ! With all the mass shooting going on along with work place violence going on ! You don't know what his intentions were, Ill live to tell my story another day !

Ras Alghul says:

If you ask most gun-toting, 2nd Amendment loving NRA card-carrying people – they would agree this dope does not deserve the privilege of owning a gun. Responsible gun owners do not think it is morally or legally permissible to wave around a gun just to punctuate your point. It is a tool that deserves the utmost respect and responsibility in handling and employing. It is not some stage prop that idiots can wave around like a picket sign.

FasNuf ZL1 says:

Another idiot giving AR15 gun owners a bad name.

Pilot says:

Bro getting sponsored
Get that bag !!

Ayks says:

He is showing frustration by the beginning stages of being ripped off, 1 dollar turns into 2 dollars, 2 dollars turns into 3 dollars and so on

einyv says:

Hope the cops go to his home and removes every firearm. He should lose his right to have a gun.

Lorenzo Johnson says:

People didn't even move or run out the store.

RidgeLine Design says:

FLORIDA MAN, donut is gonna love this

Claude Herbert says:

Hi John….. I live in FL so I am eager to know where in the state this occured.
I couldn't find a link in the description…?

Ken McLeod says:

If any of those guys had some training this guy would have been hit, gun taken away and arrested on the spot. Could have very easily gone bad here, but glad it worked out and no one was hurt. Throw the book at this idiot for bring out a gun for one dollar…smh

dj1200 says:

I was kinda expecting someone to rush the idiot when he walked in all willy nilly, before he raised the gun. Oh well, thank goodness no one was injured, the dipshit lost his freedom and that sweet gun for a hundred pennies, besides the loose change under his seat and the "take a penny" tray, the idiot could have just gone home to slowly kill himself with his cigarettes.

Defending the faith. says:

There is definitely some that should not have a firearm. Sad but true.

LocoEnElCoco says:

Wtf man, nobody will punch him in the head from the back?? Just ko the asshole! What the fuck are all that people thinking

True Hope says:

Wow….people are slow to leave!
